1. Accepted Payment Methods
All payments on our website are powered by Stripe and processed securely by Stripe. We accept major credit and debit cards, including:
- Visa
- Mastercard
- American Express
- Discover
Card payment is the only payment method at checkout. We do not accept PayPal, cash on delivery, checks, money orders, bank transfers or cryptocurrency for online orders.
Saved cards: if you have an account with us, you can choose “Save to account” at checkout to save your card for future orders. The card is stored by Stripe, not by us, and you can remove saved cards at any time from the Payment methods section of your account.
2. Currency and Prices
All prices on our website are in US dollars (USD) and do not include sales tax. The price shown on the product page and in your cart when you place your order is the price you pay for that item.

Shipping and any sales tax are shown in your cart and at checkout before you pay. The total shown at checkout is the amount charged to your card.
4. Sales Tax
MALTEZ DISCOUNT CORP. is a Florida business. For orders delivered to an address in Florida, we charge Florida sales tax at the 6% state rate plus the discretionary sales surtax of the Florida county where the order is delivered, as set by the Florida Department of Revenue. In Florida, the tax applies to the item price and to the shipping charge. For example, an order delivered in Miami-Dade County is taxed at 7% (6% state tax plus the 1% Miami-Dade County surtax).
We do not charge sales tax on orders delivered to addresses outside Florida. The exact tax amount for your order is calculated from your shipping address and shown at checkout before you pay. If an item is refunded, the sales tax charged on it is refunded too.
5. When Your Card Is Charged
Your card is charged when you place your order. You receive an order confirmation email with the amount charged. If an item turns out to be unavailable after you order, we will contact you and refund that item in full to your original payment method.
6. Declined Payments
If your payment is declined, your order is not placed and you are not charged. Check that the card number, expiration date, security code and billing ZIP code are correct, or try another card. If the problem continues, contact your card issuer or contact us.
7. Payment Security
Our website uses SSL/TLS encryption (https) on every page. Card details are entered into Stripe’s secure payment form and sent directly to Stripe, a PCI DSS–certified payment processor. We never see or store your full card number or security code.
8. Payment Verification and Fraud Prevention
To protect customers from fraud, some orders may need extra verification, such as your card issuer’s authentication step or a confirmation email or call from us. If we cannot verify a payment, we will cancel the order and refund the full amount to the original payment method.
9. Refunds
Refunds are always issued to the original payment method used for the order. Approved refunds are processed within 7 days of our receiving a return, as described in our Refund and Returns Policy. Your bank or card issuer may take a few extra business days to post the refund.
10. Discount Codes
If we offer a discount code, you can enter it at checkout in the “Have a coupon?” field. The discount is shown in your order total before you pay. Discount codes have no cash value and cannot be applied to orders that have already been placed.
11. Billing Questions and Disputes
If you see a charge you do not recognize, or you think you were charged the wrong amount, please contact us first with your order number. We will look into it and, if we made a mistake, refund the difference to your original payment method. You also keep any rights you have with your card issuer.

We may update this Payment Policy from time to time. The version posted on this page when you place your order applies to that order.
